November 30th, 2011-Afternoon Practice
I wanted to do another sequence by yogajournal, this is from their LiveMag from last December. It's another quieting practice that requires a bolster. I've been using another yoga mat as my bolster; I think I definitely need to get a bigger bolster. :-) http://www.yogajournal.com/livemag/lmcontent/34

Wonderfully intense short morning yoga sequence uploaded by yogatic and instructed by Eshter Ekhart. It's entitled 4 Poses for Strength, I concur! I started sweating and feel much more awake. Enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=99usyHUb5Ss&feature=feedu

November 29th, 2011-Afternoon Practice
Often in the afternoon, I need a boost of energy to help me through the rest of my day. I found a nice practice on yogajournal.com titled Fluid Nature. I really enjoyed it for this afternoon. It's a bit chilly out and it helped to get my blood flowing and warm my bones. :-) http://www.yogajournal.com/livemag/lmcontent/46

A quick morning sequence to start my day. Uploaded by yogatoday and instructed by Adi, this class is titled 'Sweat for Humanity'. I found it to be a perfect length and pace for getting my heart going, my body going. Namaste. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gP1T-xslwoE

November 28th, 2011-Evening Practice
Good Evening! I found a wonderful calming evening sequence uploaded by yogatoday instructed by Neesha. I recommend a strap or belt for this as you want to stretch in some of the poses but not as much as you would usually, since you are winding down for the day. Namaste. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1zohLERGZ-U

My first practice wasn't done until after 5pm. It was quite a busy day. I found one that really resonated with me at this point in my life; it's 'clear and confident' from the yogajournal.com live mag June 2011 issue. I do feel much confidence after doing this sequence. I'm ready for my run this evening. Namaste. http://www.yogajournal.com/livemag/lmcontent/50

November 27th, 2011 -Evening Practice
I found a short sequence uploaded by WaveYogaEng for pre-sleep. Although the lady is not speaking in English, there are subtitles and I found her very easy to follow. After some sleepytime tea and my pre-sleep yoga, I'm ready for bed. Namaste http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bx4yV7mbYh8

I really needed something that would get my body energized today. It must be from the Thanksgiving holiday and the running around but I was SLEEPY today. I decided to do a sequence I had done before, the 20 minute weight loss & fatburning instructed by Sadie Nardini.
I feel MUCH better now. Completely awake and ready to continue my day. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e6Wt9CFb-4s

For this morning, I wanted to do a quieting seated practice that I found on yogajournal.com. Super relaxing and easy to follow. This sequence helps to reconnect with the self and turn inward, which is perfect for this time of year. Some may want or need a block to sit on. http://www.yogajournal.com/video/232

Good Morning. Found a wonderful quick sequence uploaded by yogatoday and instructed by Neesha. It helps to open hamstrings and strengthen your shoulders. I found this perfect for this morning since I have yet to work out and will be leaving soon to do so. Enjoy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_profilepage&v=VhmHnBszW9Y

November 24th, 2011 - Turkey DAY!
Happy Thanksgiving! As a tradition, every Thanksgiving, I run the Turkey Trot in my city; a four mile run through a park. I like starting off my day with a run so later I can relax.
I felt a bit of tension today and decided to try out this sequence uploaded by yogajournal. For the first time ever, I did yin yoga. I recommend yoga blocks, a bolster and a blanket. I used another yoga mat rolled up for my bolster, but the bolster the guy has in the video is much larger. It was VERY relaxing and very low key. Anyone would be able to do this sequence with ease. Namaste.

One day away until Thanksgiving and another fantastic yoga sequence. This sequence is a standing vinyasa flow that I found on yogajournal.com. Although it's under intermediate, I believe beginners should have no problem with this sequence. It's very flowing and relaxing afterward. Namaste. http://www.yogajournal.com/video/229

Happy Tuesday! We're 2 days away from Thanksgiving. I wanted to do another short yogatic sequence, this one also instructed by Esther Ekhart. The sequence focuses on lower back and core. I know of several people that have lower back problems. This sequence would help in a very relaxing way. Although I do not have lower back issues, the sequence helped me to relax and get rid of tension. Easy for all. Enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_profilepage&v=L69u7csJ_oU
November 21st, 2011-Evening Practice
Had another group practice this evening. The group requested a core/twisting sequence which happened to be one I'd done before on yogajournal.com. Here it is again. http://www.yogajournal.com/video/180/

November 21st, 2011-Afternoon Practice
I wanted to do a short sequence this afternoon, just something to help me re-focus my mind and body. I found a nice one uploaded by yogatoday instructed by Sarah Kline. Great instruction with tips for modifying. Enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_profilepage&v=_AObwPXNWC8

It's Thanksgiving week! There are several things to be thankful for in life. Yoga remains an aspect I am constantly thankful for. Here's another short beginner sequence uploaded by yogatic featuring Esther Ekhart. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H3vLZqPZxZE&feature=relmfu

November 17th, 2011 -Evening Practice
Good Evening! I had come across this upload before from yogatic instructed by Esther Ekhart but wanted to save it for an evening sequence.
Since it is for beginners, it's very easy to follow. I do feel much more relaxed and tension is gone. It's perfect too for just before bed since it's not very long.
I have to say, I have almost reached 100 postings. I've noticed that I feel happier. More fulfilled in life. I love yoga. Namaste. http://www.youtube.com/user/yogatic#p/u/4/9k8xrU9LzZs
November 17th, 2011-Afternoon Practice
Found a great sequence from yogatoday instructed by Sarah Kline called Inner Balance. The sequence uses a LOT of balancing postures. Always remember, if you fall out, just go back into the pose. Sometimes you can be more balanced on one side than the other. I really enjoyed this practice. It was very challenging, especially when balancing on my yoga block!
Namaste.

Good Morning! I wanted to try out this upload by yogatic with Esther Ekhart. It's the first in the beginner's series. VERY simple to do with lots of explanation. Perfect for beginners. http://www.youtube.com/user/yogatic#p/u/7/2B-_aQ5vS9E

November 15th, 2011 - Afternoon Practice
I found another fun sequence uploaded by yogatoday and instructed by Neesha. I have to say, I love how positive Neesha always is and how much she just loves life.
This sequence is called 'Embracing Abundance'. I would definitely say this is an intermediate to advanced sequence but still fun for beginners to try.
If you do want to give it a shot, I recommend a strap. Several poses I couldn't fully go in to but enjoyed going as deeply as I could. It was a fantastic sequence. Namaste! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FYV34HVIFGg

Happy Tuesday! Well, I thought I'd be doing a sequence I hadn't done before but it ended up being one I HAVE done before. Uploaded by yogatic and instructed by Esther Ekhart. It's for beginners and is an energizing sequence (which is why I wanted to do it). Enjoy again! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_06A3IzrBQU&feature=relmfu
November 14th, 2011-Evening Practice
This evening I did a sequence I've done two other times because...I had others doing yoga with me! It was loads of fun. Here it is again by YogaZone. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=spWmuGEgnUA

I found another yogatic upload for this afternoon, this one instructed by Jessica Hatchett. It's a flowing energy sequence; very quick and easy to follow. Have fun! http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_profilepage&v=-kKE2RSvsPU

Found another fun sequence uploaded by yogatic featuring Esther Ekhart. The goal of this sequence is to attempt bird of paradise pose. I had never attempted this before and was a little unbalanced on my right side. Lots of fun. I started off with 5 sun salutations. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_profilepage&v=Jv2BE0UEz5c
November 13th, 2011 -Evening
I did my own sequence this evening, so I did my best trying to build this sequence to share. I hope you enjoy!

November 10th, 2011 - Afternoon Practice
I turned again to yogatoday.com for my afternoon sequence which is instructed by Adi. The sequence involves balancing and backbends. I definitely recommend straps and blocks for beginners or those not as loose.
I had some difficulty as well with this and started to sweat right away. One thing about Adi, she keeps you on your toes. And, I love it! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tVj-9gSJehs

Good Morning! It's a beautiful, chilly morning in San Antonio. I went back to yogajournal.com this morning and saw the new uploaded live mag for December! Yay, a new sequence.
The sequence is about creating a 'firm and grounded base'. Sometimes the holiday time can be a bit hectic. It's good to be grounded in life and this sequence helps with that.
Any yogi will easily be able to do this sequence. The only thing I recommend for newbies would be a block, if you need one for triangle pose or for half moon.

November 9th, 2011 - Afternoon Practice
I had saved another upload I had seen on youtube, this one under YogaVision108, a kundalini sequence.
It is very easy to follow with no difficult poses. The focus is mostly on easing the back. I really enjoyed this practice as the instructor is thorough and takes you through savasana and meditation. I feel great now. Ready to continue on with the day!
November 9th, 2011
Bonjour! It's a beautiful, chilly Wednesday morning. I found another fun yogajournal.com home practice. If you don't have a wall for the end pose, it recommends a chair. I instead used a wall for legs up the wall pose. I found this perfect for this chilly day. It was a nice going inside sequence. Enjoy! http://www.yogajournal.com/livemag/lmcontent/64

Wonderful home practice from yogajournal.com, part of their 'Live Mag'. I found this one impressive and challenging. I did this afternoon, not in the morning. However, you could attempt in the morning. I'd recommend a strap as there is some hand clasping. Fun stuff! http://www.yogajournal.com/livemag/lmcontent/72

November 7th, 2011 - Post Workout
Wanted to do a short post workout yoga/stretching with my friend today. I found a video. My only beef with it is it seems like the audio is not all there sometimes, the video and audio skips a lot. Other than that, great instructor. Enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C639ArXu1iw
November 7th, 2011
Good Morning. After not doing yoga for several days, I was anxious to get back to the routine. I was able to sneak in some yoga while in Kansas City thankfully.
This morning, I wanted to do a sequence I had saved to my favorites, another upload by Anne Novak.
Super easy and super short. Enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r4M6J5A85Fw&feature=related

November 1st, 2011
I did not do a practice until after noon today. I've been getting ready to go on a trip tomorrow so I most likely won't post anything again until Saturday or Sunday (that is, after today). I won't have access to do yoga while away. I found a nice upload by yogatoday instructed by Adi.
I definitely recommend blocks for this as the pose we're working toward is like side splits. I am not able to go all the way down either way but am more flexible with my left foot forward.
I enjoyed this a lot. They say you carry emotions in your hips. Good to be happy! Namaste.
